Refund and Cancellation Policy
Alpha LifeCare — Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to diagnostic and healthcare-support services, reimbursement-claim assistance, equipment rental and goods ordered through Alpha LifeCare’s website or directly from Alpha LifeCare. Product-specific terms shown before purchase also apply, subject to applicable law.
1. How to request a cancellation or refund
Contact us as soon as possible at +91 91594 96946 or info.alphalifecare@gmail.com. Include your name, phone number, order or booking reference, item/service, payment date and reason. Do not send full card details, passwords or one-time passcodes.
A cancellation request for a booking must reach us before the service begins. For diagnostics, service begins at sample collection or an earlier substantive step included in the confirmed booking. For reimbursement assistance, it begins when substantive review, preparation, submission or other claim work starts. We will confirm the applicable status and refund decision.
2. Diagnostic tests, check-ups and other booked services
If you cancel before the service begins, we will cancel the booking and refund the amount paid for the cancelled service, less only a charge disclosed before purchase, permitted by law and not prohibited by applicable rules. If no such charge was disclosed or is legally permitted, no cancellation charge will be deducted.
Once sample collection or substantive performance has begun, a service may no longer be cancellable only because you change your mind. If we did not provide the service as confirmed, provided it deficiently, charged incorrectly or cannot complete it, contact us. We will assess the facts and provide any remedy required by law, including a refund for an unprovided or deficient portion. Nothing here waives statutory consumer rights.
If Alpha LifeCare cancels or cannot provide a confirmed paid service, you may choose an available rescheduled appointment or a refund for the cancelled/unprovided service, subject to applicable law. We will communicate clinically necessary delays or changes as soon as reasonably practicable.
3. Reimbursement-claim assistance
Please cancel before substantive work on the claim begins. If you cancel before work begins, we will refund the service fee paid, less only a cancellation charge clearly disclosed before purchase and legally permitted. A business may not impose a cancellation charge unless it bears a similar charge when it cancels unilaterally.
After substantive work has begun, the fee for work already performed is not refundable in whole or in part solely because an insurer, employer or other payer denies, reduces or delays reimbursement, asks for more documents, or decides differently from the amount expected. The payer makes that decision, outside Alpha LifeCare’s control. If we have not performed the agreed assistance, provided it deficiently, or a refund is otherwise required by law, your remedy remains available.
The listing or written confirmation must state the assistance included, fee, what counts as the start of work and any cancellation charge before payment. If this information was not disclosed, contact us before relying on a no-refund term.
4. Goods and medical equipment
Inspect goods promptly and contact us if an item is damaged, defective, wrong, incomplete or materially different from its listing. We will arrange the remedy required by law and any applicable warranty; depending on the facts, this may include replacement, repair, return or refund. Contact us for safe return instructions before returning a medical or hygiene-sensitive item.
A change-of-mind return is available only where the listing or written confirmation expressly offers it and states the conditions and return window. A voluntary return policy cannot limit statutory remedies for defective, deficient, spurious, wrong or misdescribed goods. Rental equipment is governed by the rental period and return terms in its confirmation, without limiting remedies for an issue attributable to Alpha LifeCare.
5. Appointment changes and missed appointments
Request a reschedule as early as possible and before service begins. We will make reasonable efforts to find another time. We may treat a missed or unreachable booking as unused only where that consequence and any charge were disclosed before confirmation and are permitted by law. We will not add a prohibited cancellation charge.
6. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds will generally be sent to the original payment method where available, or another method agreed with you and permitted by law. We will initiate accepted refunds within a reasonable period and within any period prescribed by law or the payment regulator. Banks, card networks and payment providers may take additional time to post the credit. We will share a transaction reference if available.
