TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Alpha Lifecare is a proprietorship concern operating in India under GSTIN 33BPEPM9210A1ZG and provides diagnostic laboratory services and healthcare support in Manjakuppam, Cuddalore. The website currently lists the service location as Kannan Hospital, 17 Bashyam Street, Manjakuppam, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu 607001, India. Alpha Lifecare has an exclusive franchise arrangement for certain offerings. Its scope may vary over time, by location and by service; the relevant listing or booking confirmation will identify the provider for the particular offering where applicable.
For ordinary service and order enquiries, use the contact details displayed on our Contact page: +91 91594 96946 and info.alphalifecare@gmail.com. Formal legal notices are addressed as stated in Section 13.
2. Services and product information
We may offer diagnostic tests, health check-ups, medical examinations, home healthcare services, medical equipment rental, reimbursement-claim assistance and other items shown on the website. Availability can vary by location, date, staffing, equipment, eligibility and clinical requirements. A listing is an invitation to enquire or place an order; it is not a guarantee that a requested appointment, collection, report date, reimbursement or particular outcome is available.
Read the relevant listing and confirmation carefully. They should identify what is included, the applicable price, whether an appointment or home visit is involved, and any preparation, eligibility, collection, delivery or return conditions that apply. Contact us before payment if information material to your decision is missing or unclear. We will correct material listing errors and contact you if an order cannot be honoured as described.
Photographs and illustrations are for identification or general information. A displayed image may not show the exact packaging or appearance of goods supplied. The actual item description, specifications, manufacturer information and applicable instructions govern.
3. Orders, bookings and payment
Please provide accurate contact, booking, delivery and relevant service information. Submitting a form, adding an item to a cart or making payment does not by itself guarantee a booking. A booking or order is confirmed when Alpha LifeCare sends or communicates confirmation. We may contact you to clarify details or confirm availability.
Prices, taxes, fees and payment methods will be shown at checkout or otherwise communicated before you commit to the order. Any applicable tax or delivery/visit charge will be disclosed before payment. Do not proceed if the checkout total differs from the amount communicated to you; contact us first. We will not treat a pre-selected option as your consent to buy an optional item or service.
If we cannot accept or fulfil a paid order, we will notify you and arrange the applicable refund or other remedy in accordance with the Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
4. Diagnostic and healthcare services
Diagnostic testing is performed for the service described in the relevant listing or confirmation and subject to appropriate sample collection, handling, testing and reporting procedures. Follow the preparation and collection instructions given for your particular test. If you are unsure whether a test is appropriate or how to prepare, consult a qualified healthcare professional or contact us before booking.
Results are limited by the test ordered, sample quality, collection and handling conditions, biological variation and other clinical factors. A report is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified medical practitioner, and should be interpreted by one in light of your symptoms, history and examination. Alpha LifeCare does not promise a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, cure, insurance approval, reimbursement or specific clinical outcome through a listing or booking.
Do not use this website or a booking enquiry for an emergency. For urgent or life-threatening symptoms, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
You are responsible for providing truthful details needed for the service and for following test-specific preparation instructions. Tell our staff about relevant circumstances where requested. We may pause, reschedule or decline a service when it cannot be safely or properly provided; any payment consequence will be handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
5. Reimbursement-claim assistance
Where listed, reimbursement-claim assistance is an administrative support service. It does not make Alpha LifeCare an insurer, employer, claims administrator, legal representative or guarantor of a claim. The payer or scheme decides eligibility, admissible expenses, documentation requirements and the amount or timing of any reimbursement. We cannot promise approval or a particular amount.
The service description or confirmation should state the assistance included and its fee. You must supply complete and accurate documents and may need to submit or sign the claim yourself. We will not ask you to provide passwords, one-time passcodes or payment credentials. Any fee and cancellation/refund treatment is governed by the separate Refund and Cancellation Policy. A fee is not refundable merely because a third-party payer denies, reduces or delays a claim, once the agreed assistance has been substantially performed, subject always to rights that cannot be excluded by law.
6. Goods, equipment and safety
Use, store, install, maintain and return goods only as the manufacturer’s instructions and the listing permit. Do not use medical equipment beyond its stated intended purpose or without appropriate training or clinical direction where required. Report a damaged, wrong or apparently unsafe delivery promptly using the Contact page. Applicable manufacturer warranties, product-specific instructions and non-excludable legal rights continue to apply.
If equipment is rented, the listing or written confirmation should state the rental period, charges, deposit (if any), delivery/collection arrangements, permitted use, maintenance responsibilities and return condition. Do not rely on a rental unless these terms have been confirmed in writing.
7. Rescheduling, service interruptions and availability
Appointment times are estimates unless a written confirmation expressly guarantees a time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if we need to change or cancel a confirmed appointment and will offer rescheduling or the applicable refund/remedy. Events outside reasonable control may affect availability. This section does not exclude remedies required by law.
8. Customer conduct and website use
Use the website lawfully and do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit false or misleading information, upload harmful code, or misuse another person's information. You must be legally capable of making the order or have the required consent of a parent, guardian or authorised representative. We may suspend access or reject a transaction where reasonably necessary to protect customers, staff or the website, subject to applicable law.
9. Privacy and communications
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange and provide services, process orders and payments, maintain records and meet legal obligations. Information about health or test bookings may be sensitive. Please submit only information needed for the enquiry or service. The separate Privacy Policy explains what is collected, why, with whom it is shared, retention, security, choices and how to contact us. By submitting a form you request a response about that enquiry; optional marketing communications require a separate choice where applicable.
10. Website content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, website text, graphics, branding and design are owned by or used with permission by Alpha LifeCare. You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial enquiries and orders. You may not copy, alter, publish or commercially exploit website material without written permission, except where law permits.
11. Liability and statutory rights
We will provide the goods and services in accordance with the confirmed description and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or a consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including remedies concerning defective goods, deficient or unprovided services, misleading descriptions, overcharging, negligence or product liability where applicable.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by a customer, failure to follow instructions, a third-party payer's reimbursement decision, or an event outside our reasonable control. This does not excuse our own legal duties or restrict any non-waivable right.
12. Complaints and grievance redressal
For a service or order concern, contact the designated Grievance Redressal Officer:

You may also contact our customer-service team at +91 91594 96946 or info.alphalifecare@gmail.com. We will provide a complaint reference and handle the complaint under applicable law. Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, a consumer complaint must be acknowledged within 48 hours and redressed within one month. Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from using a competent statutory consumer forum, the National Consumer Helpline or another remedy available under law.
13. Formal notices and governing law
Formal legal notices to Alpha LifeCare should be addressed to:
The Legal Advisor
Alpha LifeCare
17 Bashyam Street, Manjakuppam
Cuddalore – 607001, Tamil Nadu, India
For formal legal notices between a customer and Alpha LifeCare, the parties request physical delivery by India Post Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due (RPAD) to the address above. A notice is treated as received when delivery is evidenced by the postal acknowledgement or tracking record, subject to applicable law. This preferred notice method does not prevent a consumer from filing a complaint through an online statutory mechanism, consumer commission, regulator, payment provider or other channel permitted by law. Customer-service and statutory grievance channels remain available as described above.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction and other non-waivable legal rights, courts of competent jurisdiction at Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms. This clause does not remove any jurisdiction conferred on a consumer commission by law.
14. Changes and severability
We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, website or law. The version displayed when you place an order will ordinarily apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
